Home Construct had the great pleasure of giving Glenn Murcutt’s “Ball Eastaway House” a bit of TLC after 35 years. Because of our relation ship with Sydney Ball’s Gallery, Drew and his son Joel developed a friendship with Syd , and would often visit and help out around the place with fire prevention preparations and other maintenance. When the time came to do some repairs and maintenance to the interiors we were more than happy to organise this. The simplicity and honesty of the original detailing and finishes however meant there was not a great deal to do. A bit of setting, painting and cleaning is all that was needed. A real testimony to this outstanding home.
